We are only about 15-20 minutes from Jindabyne and about 45 minutes from the Snowy Mountains ski resorts but the experience, atmosphere and value for your dollar that you get by staying with us is worth the drive!

The Snow Gate Motel is only about 4.5 to 5 hours drive from Sydney. You need to take the M5 and take the Canberra turn off (approx 2.5 hours from Sydney) Follow the signs to Cooma (approx 75 mins) Continue on the road to Jindabyne. After about 20 minuets you will arrive at Berridale. We are the big motel on the right. Drive in, come to reception and enjoy your holiday!

WINTER
The perfect base for visitors to the Snowy Mountains' winter wonderland of snowboarding and skiing, Jindabyne is around half-an-hour from Perisher Blue and Thredbo. Naturally, the town comes alive during the colder months, when visitors take advantage of ski hire, a variety of places to eat, a contemporary cinema showing up-to-the-minute films and a range of other entertainment features.

SUMMER
Mountain Bike riding: Indulge in the thrills and joys of biking amidst breathtaking alpine views, imagine 25 km descents through snow gums, alpine ash and rain forest, relaxing jaunts over snow grass plains, visiting old cattlemen’s huts, or thrilling downhill descents on the Cannonball trail at Thredbo; with a guide or on your own, it’s your choice. The Snowy Mountains is a great place to go bike riding.
